Broadening students’ creative horizons with artists from around the globe.

Our Visiting Artists series is all about connecting our students with the world beyond their geographic boundaries, and expanding their artistic horizons. Partnerships with No Boundaries International Artists Colony, UNCW Presents, The Dance Cooperative and other organizations, as well as grants from the Landfall Foundation and the North Carolina Governor’s Crime Commission, have helped us bring incredible visual and performing artists from all over the world to work with our DREAMers.

Guests have included the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Chinese painter Wei Ru, Barbadian artist Neville Crawford, Playback Theatre, multimedia artist Steve Myott, dancers Duane Cyrus and Tamara Thomas, and many, many more. From fish prints to Brazilian-infused hip hop, mask-making to stilt-walking, our visiting artists have done it all.
