Here at DREAMS, volunteers make our world go ‘round. From classroom assistants to cultural mentors, special events staff to administrative support, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Classroom Assistant
Do you love working with children? Volunteer in a visual, literary or performing arts class during the school year. Classes meet once per week after school for one to two hours. No artistic experience required!

Cultural Mentor Program
Share your favorite cultural events with a DREAMS student! As a cultural mentor, you’ll be matched with a young artist and accompany them to plays, performances, art exhibits, and other events throughout the community.

Special Events Staff
Help DREAMS behind the scenes at our annual fundraiser, DREAMS Presents, as well as at other events throughout the year.

Summer Program
Each summer, DREAMS holds an exciting, in-depth three-week program. Classes meet Monday through Thursday, 9 AM-2:30 PM. Volunteers help with snack, serve lunch, assist in a classroom, and much, much more.

Administrative Support
Our administrative volunteers assist office staff with mailings, special event preparation, and a variety of other projects on an as-needed basis.
