Art saves lives…

At DREAMS, we believe that the creative experience can be a positive influence in the lives of young people. Students can participate in a number of fun workshops that encourage creative thinking and self expression.

A DREAMS education will…

• Present an opportunity for students to develop their self-confidence, self-expression, and sense of responsibility.
• Allow students to benefit from mentoring relationships with artists and teachers, as well as the experience of being part of a constructive peer group.
• Provide a “safe haven” for students after school, offering a fun alternative to just sitting at home or hanging out on the streets.
• Help children to develop integrity and respect for others through teamwork.
• Develop both an artistic and academic commitment to learning.
